Lease Maturity Report

Overview

The Lease Maturity Report shows how your lease liabilities are split between current and non-current portions, and when those obligations fall due. Use this report to understand your lease maturity profile across different time periods and to support your financial reporting and disclosure requirements.

Getting here

  1. Open the sidebar.

  2. Click Reports.

  3. Click Lease Maturity Report.

You need the insights permission to access this screen.

What you can do on this screen

  • View lease liability balances split by current and non-current portions

  • See maturity analysis across four time bands (within 1 year, 1--2 years, 2--5 years, and over 5 years)

  • Search for specific leases by reference or description

  • Filter leases by date, asset type, treatment, status, date ranges, remaining term, liability amount, or lease reference

  • Sort the report by any column

  • Choose which columns to display and reorder them

  • Export the report to CSV, Excel, or PDF

  • Export selected leases only

  • Navigate directly to an asset record from the report

  • Save and reuse filter configurations

Searching for leases

  1. In the Search leases... field at the top of the screen, type your search term.

  2. The table updates automatically as you type.

The search matches against the lease reference and lease description fields.

Filtering the report

Filters are available in the right-hand panel under the Filters tab.

  1. Click the Filters tab in the right-hand panel.

  2. Set one or more filters (see the filter reference below).

  3. Click Apply Filter to update the report.

To remove all filters, click Clear All within the Filters panel. The report reloads with no filters applied.

Available filters

Description

As at Date

The reporting date for lease positions. Defaults to today's date.

Asset Type

Filter by the type of leased asset. Options: Buildings, Vehicles, Equipment, IT Equipment, Machinery, Other. You can select more than one.

Lease Treatment

Filter by FRS 102 accounting treatment. Options: On-Balance Sheet (RoU), Short-term / Low-value (Exempt). You can select more than one.

Lease Status

Filter by the current status of the lease. Options: Active, Expired, Terminated Early, Renewed. You can select more than one.

Lease Start Date

Filter by the lease commencement date. Set a from date, a to date, or both.

Lease End Date

Filter by the lease expiry date. Set a from date, a to date, or both.

Remaining Term (Months)

Filter by the number of months remaining on the lease. Enter a minimum value, a maximum value, or both.

Liability Amount

Filter by the total lease liability balance. Enter a minimum value, a maximum value, or both.

Lease Reference

Search for leases by their reference code (for example, LSE-001).

Saving a filter

  1. Set the filters you want to save.

  2. Click Save and Apply.

  3. Enter a name for the filter.

  4. Click Save.

The filter is saved and applied to the report. You can load it again later from the Saved Filters dropdown at the top of the Filters panel.

Loading a saved filter

  1. Open the Filters tab in the right-hand panel.

  2. Select a filter from the Saved Filters dropdown.

The saved filter is loaded and applied automatically.

Managing saved filters

From the Saved Filters dropdown, you can:

  • Edit a saved filter to update its name

  • Duplicate a saved filter to create a copy

  • Delete a saved filter you no longer need

Sorting the report

  1. Select a column header to sort the table by that column in ascending order.

  2. Select the same column header again to sort in descending order.

  3. Select it a third time to remove the sort.

The report sorts by Lease Ref in ascending order by default.

Choosing columns

You can control which columns appear in the table and their order.

  1. Click the Columns tab in the right-hand panel.

  2. Select the eye icon next to a column to show or hide it.

  3. Drag columns using the grip handle to reorder them.

To show all columns, click Show All. To return to the default column layout, click Reset.

You can also search for a column by name using the Search columns... field at the top of the Columns panel.

Selecting leases

You can select one or more leases in the table to perform actions on them.

  • To select a single lease, tick the checkbox in the row.

  • To select all leases on the current page, tick the checkbox in the column header.

  • To deselect all leases, untick the checkbox in the column header.

When you select one or more leases, the Actions panel shows additional export options for the selected items.

Exporting the report

Export options are available in the right-hand panel under the Actions tab.

Exporting all data

  1. Click the Actions tab in the right-hand panel.

  2. Under Export, choose one of the following:

    • Export to CSV -- downloads the report as a CSV file.

    • Export to Excel -- downloads the report as an Excel spreadsheet.

    • Export to PDF -- downloads the report as a PDF document in landscape format.

The export includes all filtered and sorted data, using the columns currently visible in the table.

Exporting selected leases

  1. Select one or more leases using the checkboxes.

  2. In the Actions tab, under Export Selected, choose one of the following:

    • Export Selected to CSV -- downloads the selected leases as a CSV file.

    • Export Selected to Excel -- downloads the selected leases as an Excel spreadsheet.

Viewing an asset record

You can navigate directly to an asset from the report.

  1. In the Asset Code or Asset Description column, select the link for the asset you want to view.

  2. The asset record opens.

Navigating between pages

The report displays 25 leases per page. Use the pagination controls at the bottom of the screen:

  • Click First to go to the first page.

  • Click Previous to go back one page.

  • Click Next to go forward one page.

  • Click Last to go to the last page.

The footer also shows the total number of entries and summary totals for Total Liability, Current, and Non-Current amounts.

Description

Lease Ref

The unique reference code for the lease.

Asset Code

The code of the asset linked to this lease. Select this to open the asset record.

Asset Description

A description of the leased asset. Select this to open the asset record.

Lease Description

A description of the lease agreement.

Total Liability

The total outstanding lease liability balance. Displayed in your home currency.

Current

The portion of the lease liability due within the current reporting period. Displayed in your home currency.

Non-Current

The portion of the lease liability due beyond the current reporting period. Displayed in your home currency.

<1 Year

The amount of lease liability maturing within one year. Displayed in your home currency.

1-2 Years

The amount of lease liability maturing between one and two years. Displayed in your home currency.

2-5 Years

The amount of lease liability maturing between two and five years. Displayed in your home currency.

>5 Years

The amount of lease liability maturing beyond five years. Displayed in your home currency.

When it appears

No leases found

The table is empty. No leases match your current search or filters. Try adjusting your search term or changing your filters.

No leases match the selected filters.

No leases match the filters you have applied. Try changing or clearing your filters.

Try adjusting your search or filters to find what you're looking for

You have entered a search term but no results match. Try a different search term or adjust your filters.

Failed to load liability split

The report data could not be loaded. Try refreshing the page. If the problem continues, contact your administrator.

Failed to export data

The export could not be completed. Try again. If the problem continues, contact your administrator.

Please configure at least one filter before saving

You tried to save a filter without setting any filter values. Set at least one filter before saving.

Failed to load saved filters

Your saved filters could not be loaded. Try refreshing the page.

Failed to save filter

The filter could not be saved. Try again.

Failed to delete filter

The filter could not be deleted. Try again.

Failed to duplicate filter

The filter could not be duplicated. Try again.

Unsaved changes

You have changed your filter settings but have not yet applied them. Click Apply Filter or Save and Apply to update the report.
